Rae startles a little when Abe-san speaks, recalled back to her body from wherever her mind had been. She doesn't show signs of having slept, but her red-rimmed eyes and rough voice show clearly some of what she has been doing.

"Thank you," she says, quiet. "I don't know if I could've done that. How... how did he take it?"
